#WelcomeWednesday: We welcome Evie's Snacks to NJFC this week! Evie’s Snacks is a farm-direct pecan snack company that makes crunchy, sweet roasted pecans in lots of #flavors, including Sweet & Salty and Churro. They're snackable, shareable, and honestly pretty good for you with only a third of the total sugar of leading brands. Plus, pecans are packed with essential #nutrients, including monounsaturated fats, #antioxidants, #vitamins, and #minerals, making them a valuable addition to a balanced diet. Co-founder Evie Ackerly was inspired by her mother’s experimentation in the kitchen using the #pecans that her father had grown. For more than 20 years, Evie's father has been on a mission to grow the absolute best pecans that nature can provide. The company is continuing in the same spirit – pairing new spices, glazes, and seasonings and putting a modern spin on the best pecans. All of their nuts are still sourced from Evie's family farm in South Texas, and then roasted with love in Pennsylvania.
